Sea grass rug 'Duoba' - black

Made from sea rush and inspired by Kuba motifs, this rug has an entrancing air. Its contemporary geometric lines have a surprising electric effect: colored angular lines set against a natural plant-dyed background cover two thirds of the surface.

A skillfully sewn black cotton strip creates a border between the two different weaves, as for the final third, a black background is adorned with waves of natural colour. Turn the rug over and everything is inverted.
