For many years, we have been collecting them ourselves: sturdy old weathered mortars from distant countries. These large mortars are an essential tool in African cuisine. Carved from a single tree trunk, they are used to pound grains.
These mortars have been turned upside down and so restored to give them a second life. Each piece is unique and has acquired a beautifully weathered patina over the years.
Use them as tables next to your bed, place them as side tables next to a sofa or chair, or use them as side stools.
