Traditionally nomadic pastoralists, the Fulani people (also called Peul) range their cattle across West Africa, setting camp in circular tents when they find good grazing lands.

These hand-carved wood panels are part of the traditional Fulani bed – their serrated tops support thick poles, on top of which a sleeping mat is laid. Authentic found objects, each panel is unique in size, color and carving.
